In 1956 our family moved from LA to Eureka My dad became 1/3 partner with his two cousins Donny and Irv in a truck terminal. the first in Northern California The business failed in about 1958-9 in large part because of Don's hand in the till Since that time, the space has been empty save for some very brief stints by one business of another Almost 60 years the property has lain unused Last year I visited and took a photo This year, they tore the building down and are constructing more stuff |
